One of the most popular snacks at the Walt Disney World Resort® is the infamous Dole Whip. Traditional Disney “Dole Whip” is a creamy, tart pineapple treat. However, you can find this delicious treat in other flavors such as orange in certain locations. You can find your favorite Dole Whip options in the following main locations on property: Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom, Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Animal Kingdom, and Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.
Since we are in the midst of our time away from the Disney parks right now, we tried out a recipe at home – thanks to our friends at the Disney Parks Blog.
Here’s the simple recipe for the parks’ famous pineapple dessert:
Ingredients:
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
- 4 oz. of pineapple juice
- 2 cups of frozen pineapple
Instructions:
Add all ingredients into a blender until it’s a thick drink. Swirl in some vanilla ice cream for a creamy swirl dish.
For those adults who like an added boost – you can add some pineapple rum for a fun drink!
