TMC Premier Travel Takes Over Utopia of the Seas
There are trips… and then there are the trips that stay with you. Our TMC weekend onboard Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas was the latter—a whirlwind of learning, bonding, laughter, late-night dancing, and the kind of conversations that remind you exactly why we do what we do.
With 35 TMC advisors, spouses, children, and friends joining us from across the East Coast and Midwest, this wasn’t just a getaway—it was a family reunion at sea. From the moment we stepped onboard, the energy was electric. Advisors greeted each other like old friends, spouses mixed right in, and the kids… well, they made their own instant community, running around the ship like they’d known each other forever.
We were also incredibly lucky to have our Royal Caribbean Sales Manager sailing with us, bringing insight, behind-the-scenes knowledge, and a level of support that made this weekend truly special. Between official learning moments and casual pool-deck chats, our advisors walked away feeling inspired, informed, and more confident than ever in selling Utopia and the Royal Caribbean brand.
Exploring Nassau: One Port, Many Adventures
Nassau was our first full day ashore, and it turned out to be one of those wonderfully chaotic, memory-making days where everyone chose their own adventure. That’s the magic of traveling with a big group—you get dozens of perspectives on a single destination, and every advisor walked away with something unique to bring back to their clients.
Some of our advisors headed off on official excursions, from snorkeling in turquoise waters to guided tours through Nassau’s historic districts. A few even tested out popular family excursions, taking detailed notes and photos so they can confidently recommend the experience later.
Others decided to take the more laid-back route, wandering through Nassau’s newly refreshed port area, checking out shops, local bites, and the easy walkability. The port looks better than ever, and our advisors loved being able to explore at their own pace—no agenda, just soaking in the atmosphere.
And then, of course, there were the pool-side loyalists. Some of the group stayed onboard to enjoy Utopia’s quieter ship day, stretching out by the pools, grabbing long lunches, exploring open spaces, and making mental lists of “client tips” while floating in the sunshine. That’s the best part of ship days: relaxation still counts as research.
When we all reunited later, every advisor had a different story to tell—exactly what makes these trips so valuable and so fun.
A Big TMC Day at Perfect Day at CocoCay
Our day at Perfect Day at CocoCay felt like the moment the trip clicked into something even more special. Royal Caribbean treated our advisors to a private, exclusive tour that went beyond what the normal guest sees. It was the kind of behind-the-scenes access that truly shapes our ability to guide clients with first-hand insight.
We started at Coco Beach Club, a dreamy oasis of over-water cabanas, a stunning infinity pool, and elevated dining. Our advisors got to walk through the cabana areas, sit in the loungers, peek at the menu, and imagine the guest experience from every angle. For clients seeking luxury or adults wanting serenity, Coco Beach Club is as close to perfection as it gets.
Next up was Thrill Waterpark, where our advisors were able to see the massive slides, wave pool, splash zones, and all the adrenaline-packed details. Some advisors even braved a slide or two—strictly for research, of course. Understanding the layout, height requirements, crowd flow, and “best times to visit” will help us better guide families who want to make the most of their waterpark day.
Then we toured Hideaway Beach, the brand-new adults-only beach club. With music, energy, private seating, and a totally different vibe, this is going to be a huge hit for adult groups and couples. Being among the first to explore it together gave our advisors an edge in helping clients choose between the different CocoCay experiences.
Between the tours, some advisors hit the floating bar, others relaxed in beach chairs, and a few explored Chill Island on their own. Everyone found their perfect piece of CocoCay—and everyone left with photos, videos, and actual first-hand experience to share with clients.
By the time we headed back to the ship, we weren’t just sandy and sun-soaked—we were inspired. CocoCay is a destination in itself, and seeing it through the lens of advisors, parents, and friends made it even more magical.
Nights Filled With Laughter, Music & Memories
Every evening brought us back together, all of us gathered around dinner tables sharing stories, insights, and conversations that went far beyond travel. It was community in its purest form—people who genuinely enjoy each other’s company, bonding over the thing we love most: helping families create unforgettable journeys.
After dinner, the fun didn’t stop.
We experienced the Aqua80 show, which left every single one of us speechless. We danced, sang, and laughed late into the night at the Bell & Barley Pub, turning it into our unofficial TMC hangout. And the Toga Party Silent Disco? Let’s just say our advisors understood the assignment. Every moment was proof that travel professionals know how to play as hard as they work.
A Family at Sea
More than anything, this weekend was about connection.
It was advisors from different states building friendships that will last long after we disembarked. It was spouses swapping stories and connecting instantly, and “kids” who went from strangers to inseparable in a matter of hours. It was all of us learning the ins and outs of one of the most remarkable ships at sea — together.
For some advisors, this was their very first Royal Caribbean sailing, and now they truly get it. They understand why Royal Caribbean is one of our top partners and why our clients love these ships so much. They came home knowing exactly how to help families have the best possible experience at sea.
Most importantly, it reminded all of us that TMC Premier Travel isn’t just a team. We’re a family — one that cheers each other on, shows up for one another, and grows stronger every time we share experiences like this. These moments at sea, the conversations, the laughter, the late nights, and the new connections became the thread that ties us even closer together.
As we disembarked on Monday, sun-kissed, tired, and carrying more memories than we could count, one thing was clear: this is only the beginning. We’ll be back. And next time? It will be even bigger.
Cheers to Utopia of the Seas, to Royal Caribbean, and to the incredible advisors who make TMC the heart of something truly special.
